What tales could be told if walls really did have ears? This unique project will develop a theatre promenade
performance for staging in Nairne 24-26 May 2019. Participants will learn improvisation, ensemble and acting
skills as they dive into local tales of intrigue… Starting in January, research carried out by key creative Jess
Foster will be developed and honed into performance with Susie Skinner. Exploring local history has never
been so enjoyable with a fun, quirky approach featuring interactive media.

Susie Skinner is a storyteller who works with theatre and music. Since graduating from Flinders Drama Centre
in 1995 her work with and for young people has been at the centre of her practice.  She was the Artistic
Director of D’faces Youth Arts in Whyalla from 2007 to 2010 and a mentor for members of Wet Paint, a young
people’s theatre project in Goolwa in 2013/14.
